Career Options

One of the most important aspects of choosing a career, would be to identify your passion, what it is that you love to do, your, and something that would make you happy. I use the process of elimination to help with my decision-making. Not only do I use this to help choose my career, but I also apply this to help my daily decision-making. I sort my priorities, from what I believe to be more important down to the least. By prioritizing my goals, it helps me achieve one thing at a time. By using deductive reasoning, I can list out all the possible career options, and eliminate it by going through my three main aspects of choosing my career choice. Once I have narrowed down to one possibility, all my efforts will go towards it. Choosing a career is not just any decision that one makes. It needs commitment and motivation in order to be successful. Therefore, it is incredibly important for one to take the process of deciding on a career option very seriously.

  1. Yes, I also believe passion is an important thing to consider when it comes to life-long career options. You can't be 100% happy in life if you are not doing what you love. And even if you don't care about being happy, you need to think about how you only have one life and not another second chance. I also agree with you that you need commitment and motivation. If you have passion, you automatically have commitment and motivation because there's not other better reason why you can't do amazing in your job. I have passion in taking care of people which is why I am committed in working in the health department.

  2. Choosing a career path that you are passionate about will benefit you in the long run because you will always love what you do. I chose to become an Environmental Studies major because I love the environment and want to work in preserving and restoring it. From a young age, I already knew I was an outdoors type of person. So naturally, I fell in love with hiking, camping, and just walking to places I needed to be. I enjoy the spectacular, breath-taking views of nature on hikes and just being able to experience it with my friends. If you’re going to have a career, you should chose one you love and it will never get boring.
